About
Filodie is built on one idea: good intervention holds together like a thread, linking observation, understanding, planning, support and communication.
My name is Mélodie Fréchette. I am the mother of four daughters, and it was at home that I first learned that children move forward best when you show them the way, one step at a time.
I am a special care counselling student, I hold a certificate in social work, and I am completing a multidisciplinary bachelor’s degree with a certificate in human developmental psychology and a certificate in addictions. This path lets me look at every situation from several angles: development, family, services and day-to-day intervention.
I created Filodie to give counsellors, teachers and parents the tools I wished I had on hand: clear, attractive, rigorous and truly usable with the people we support.
